Target North Attleboro MA Remodel (04/23/2018)

Now that the Target in North Attleboro MA is remodelling to the new redesign. Target is now starting to remodel their Southeastern New England stores. The first four in and near Rhode Island will be located in North Attleboro MA (Store #1190) (Currently Remodeling), Smithfield RI (Store #1404) (Remodeling in June 2018),  Lincoln RI (Store #2073) (Remodelling in 2020 and currently have A&A {Accessories & Apparel} 2.0), and Warwick "Bald Hill Plaza" (Store #1188) (Remodel not announced). Target is planning to remodel another 996 stores as part of their remodelling plans as an addition to the 110 that remodelled in 2017 (None were around RI and Southeastern MA). I figured if I checked North Attleboro's remodel today and see what's been going on. The remodel is expected to be finished between June-September 2018

Their Exterior on 04/23/2018. It's not going to look like this for long. The letters look faded as they will be replaced with the same exterior logo as the Wilmington NC Target has (They only have A&A 2.0 and E&E 2.0).

Here's photos of North Attleboro during their remodel (04/23/2018):

R.I.P Target Cafe (1999-2018)

Coming Soon: A&A (Accessories & Apparel) 2.0

The signage that is normally there was taken down temporally for new grey paint which will be applied in the coming weeks.

Here's where the Tech Counter is now.

Heading to see the area where the tech counter was. Target Team Memebers call it "The Boat" at this location (Lincoln has the same exact counter.

"Big changes in store Can't Find Something? Just ask."

Here's where the tech counter used to be

"Upgrades in store

Big Changes Coming in
Electronics & Entertainment."

Here's where I think Enterance #2 will go. Redesigned Targets have 2 enterance. One Main Enterance and another for Grab & Go. A very unique idea Target. There are Coustomers who want to go in and out quickly so I think it's an excellent idea ;). P97 and P01 are still my favorite Target store designs because the neon looks awesome (Kinda rare to find a Target with P01. My nearest P97/P01 is the Salem MA Target (Former Caldor/Kmart).

North Attleboro Target store map. I'll recreate this map.

Checkout Lights. They look kinda cool. I do like how the numbers light up. They've been there since the first remodel in sround 2011.

Pricing tag, a nice idea for price comparison 😉

This is the status of the store's remodel on 04/23/2018. There will be a blog about when the remodel is complete. There will also be a blog of the Smithfield Target's remodel in the coming months as well (It's starting in 2 months).

Kmart Matamoras PA (03/09/2018)

The Kmart in Matamoras PA opened in 1993 as a relocated store for the Port Jervis NY location whcih opened in around 1976 as a former Grants store. This location is the Main Anchor for the Westfall\ Town Center. This Kmart is 115,339 Sq.

First Set of Exterior photos

Here's the exterior when you're on the nearby Highway. Looks like the mirrored version of the new closed Boston MA Store (Kmart #7605) on 7 Allstate Rd (Located where Target is now).

That's all the photos of this location. Stay tuned for more blog posts.

I also documented this store along with:
- #9123 Enola PA (Former Grants) "NOW CLOSED"
- #3029 Erlanger KY
- #7160 Knoxville TN Maynardville Pike
- #3396 Poughkeepsie NY Duchess (Former Grants)

But I went by these Kmarts:
- #3949 Wind Gap PA
- #3268 Wilkes-Barre PA

Target Stores I documented along with this Kmart:
- #990 Lancaster OH
- #1250 Maryville TN

Target Maryville TN (03/05/2018) (Target's 1997 Design Package)

Here's a unikely stop I had to pull up to. The Unremodeled Tagret located on 800 Walkins Rd in no other than Maryville, Tennessee. Who know this location could get away with their 1997 Design Package instead of remodeling to the 2004 or 2009 Desgn Package. This is one of the last Targets in the world with the 1997 Design Package, alst in the Knoxville area after a Knoxville store remodeled in 2017 to the latest design package Target has to offer. I also had to do a tour because the nearby Kmart closed back in 2016 (It was converted into Rural King). This Target (#1250) opened back on March 1, 2000 which makes it one of the first stores to open in the 2000's and one of the last getting the 1997 design package. Possblym to team mebers, this store looks like a huge dinosaur. This location recently remodeled to 2.0 in 2018 so ckeck out this blog post to see this location before the 2.0 remodel.

Here's the exterior photos (Screenshots) I took

If you approch this location from the left hand side going down Walkins, you'll get this shot.

Here's when you enter the plaza it's in. It looks identical to the Warwick Bald Hill Plaza location (Former Lechmere).

Here's the extra red Target carts stored outside the store (Kmart's carts are grey with "KMART" on them). These are the new carts with the older design (The Lancaster, Ohio Target has those same carts as well)

This location strikes a resemblance with the Warwick Bald Hill Plaza store (Store #1188)

Here's a shot of the former Kroger and a Home Depot before the tour began

THe Plaza that the Maryville Target is in is very small. Only Anchored by thee P97 Target and Kroger (CLOSED). The Junior Anchors are the Payless Shoesource (CLOSED), Luxe Nails, and Supercuts.

Home Depot also has a store accorss the street that says "Home Depot" on the outside, very unique.
